Once services have been initiated or processed, such fees shall ordinarily not be refunded.

Eligible Refund Cases

Refund requests may be considered in the following situations:

  1. Duplicate Payment

If a user accidentally makes multiple payments for the same service, the excess amount may be refunded after verification.

  1. Excess Payment

Where an amount paid exceeds the prescribed fee due to technical or human error, the excess amount may be refunded upon verification.

  1. Failed Transaction with Successful Deduction

If payment is deducted from the applicant’s account but the transaction fails and services are not provided, the matter will be reviewed and the amount may be refunded after confirmation from the payment gateway or banking institution.

  1. Cancellation by NBVSE

If any program, service, examination, training activity, or event is cancelled by NBVSE and no alternative arrangement is provided, eligible candidates may be considered for a refund in accordance with institutional decisions.

Refund Request Procedure

Applicants seeking a refund must submit a written request containing:

  • Registration/Application Number
  • Contact Details
  • Payment Reference Number
  • Date of Payment
  • Reason for Refund Request
  • Supporting Documents (if applicable)

NBVSE may request additional documentation or clarification before processing the request.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refund requests shall normally be processed within:

15 to 30 working days

from the date of approval, subject to verification, banking procedures, and payment gateway processing timelines.

NBVSE shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, financial institutions, payment gateways, or circumstances beyond its control.

Mode of Refund

Approved refunds shall generally be credited through the original mode of payment used during the transaction.

Where this is not feasible, NBVSE may determine an alternative refund method in accordance with applicable financial procedures.

Rejection of Refund Requests

Refund requests may be rejected in cases involving:

  • Submission of false or misleading information.
  • Violation of institutional rules or regulations.
  • Failure to provide required supporting documents.
  • Requests made beyond the prescribed timeframe.
  • Services already utilized, completed, or delivered.
  • Non-compliance with this Refund Policy.

The decision of NBVSE regarding refund eligibility shall be final.

Institutional Discretion

NBVSE reserves the right to:

  • Deduct applicable administrative or processing charges where necessary.
